Additional Ministries

• We support the Orion Area Food Pantry. Members here collect food, deliver food and volunteer at distribution of food. (The Food Pantry is housed in the Village Hall in Orion and distributes food on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 4-6pm)
• We actively support the Andover Community by volunteering for such local events as ‘Fun on 81’, and the Village Christmas Walk. See Community Events link.
• We Participate in ‘God’s Work, Our Hands’ Sundays each September, going out into the community to serve.
• We support our youth wherever possible with Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Luther League, ELCA Youth Gathering, Scholarships, and High School Service Awards program. See Youth Ministries
• There are three women’s circles which meet monthly for fellowship. See WELCA
• Men’s Bible Study meets weekly on Monday evenings at 6:00pm in the High School classroom.
• Christian education includes Sunday morning adult education at 9:15 (with coffee!) and Sunday School programs for all ages at the same time.

In our long storied history, Augustana Lutheran church has operated exclusively through our members giving of themselves, their time and their possessions. If you wish to get involved, please communicate your special gifts to us through our Time & Talent form, or contacting the church office.
